My daughter took me out for Father's day. The wait time was minimal. We sat at the bar and had a beverage while waiting. It was crowded but we did not wait long for our table. The waitress came to us within moments of sitting to see if we wanted water or anything else to drink. She gave us time to look over the menu before coming back to answer any questions, tell us the specials and take our order. We didn't wait long for our food to arrive. The food was very tasty and we all enjoyed our orders. The portions were generous, so we wound up taking doggie bags home. We ordered dessert to take home. It was a very nice experience and will go back again.

This place is delicious. Great food, portions, and options. I don’t know what they do to their wings but it’s some of the best wings I’ve had. I went with a couple of friends and the one thing they all said was the wings were extremely good. I know it’s a weird compliment for a German place but that is just the start. The schnitzel was also perfect. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I’m not a super big fan of blasting music so I can’t communicate clearly.

Been here twice and ended up getting the Reuben both times because it’s just that good. Also a huge fan of the potato pancakes with apple butter as well as the Wurst Platter! I also shared the Schmandschnitzel both times because honestly it hit the spot so well. Service was excellent both times and the great German beer selection is spot on. I’m excited to see them expand next door and continue coming to here to dine.

We found this place from social media and decided to come check it out.. and we are so happy we did. One of us is actually German and was delighted to see the vast selection to choose from. But no matter what we got, we loved. The warm pretzels, the sausage board and the potato salad were huge hits for us. Can’t wait to come back!

Found this place when I needed a late lunch and been coming back almost weekly since! Trivia night on Mondays are a delight. Food is excellent. Can’t go wrong with anything but adore the steak sandwich and French onion soup. The giant appetizer mixed platter is perfect a group of 3-5. Cocktails are perfect, a bit strong so be forewarned. Get there early for a beer in a boot— there aren’t many and are super popular! Staff are friendly and will remember your name and orders even after a single visit. Atmosphere is lively and a great place for social gatherings.

What is there not to LOVE about Schnitzels!!! The atmosphere, the staff, the food...everything is PHENOMENAL! Storm, Lou and Casey are the absolute best! They make you feel like family and are so friendly and fun to be around! We literally love everything especially the steak sandwich, buffalo flatbread (made by the amazing chris), crispy schnitzel wings, wurst platter, rahm schnitzel...everything!! Oh I can’t forget how delicious the breakfast is! The croissant bacon egg and cheese is delicious! They do Music Bingo and Trivia nights that are loads of fun! It is such a fun hometown feel that has become part of our weekly routine! Our FAVORITE place! Schnitzels will not disappoint!!! A must try!!!

Schnitzels is located in beautiful Stony Brook Village, at the location of what used to be Fratelli’s. I was a bit taken back as I had not realized that but was pleasantly surprised with the new space. We were seated right away and our waitress was very nice and checked on us often. My husband and I got the basics as we celebrated a late Valentine’s Day, that Sunday evening. The food was great! The beer was also ideal as we wanted a Pilsner and a Lager. Overall we really enjoyed our dinner, the restroom is not anything special but the space overall is great! I recommend!

Schnitzels exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere set the tone for an incredible dining experience. The staff was attentive and friendly. I got the jager schnitzel, perfectly crisp on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. Every bite was a reminder of why this place has such a great reputation. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. We also tried their German beer on tap, which paired perfectly with the meal. Dessert was a great end to the meal- don’t skip the crumb cake! Whether you’re a longtime fan of traditional German fare or just looking for a cozy spot with exceptional food and service, Schnitzels is a must. We’ll definitely be back!
